Summer twilight. Arrived about 8:30 am to find Carl rigging 3.7/76 and the wind looking pretty solid. When I walked down to the waters edge at the bridge I started regreting leaving my small board at home - when do we ever sail small gear at Acadia in September? I decided to go with the familar and rigged 4.5/92 and luckily the wind backed a little as I was rigging. Carl was making the small stuff work! I was a little undergunned at first. Jens joined in. T7he wind backed. Took a break in the cove. Got a few well powered rides in the short lived rebound then called it at noon. Fun way to start the day! Epecially with the warm air, warm water and sunshine!
