Sunny warm windy afternoon and i said F-it to work and got cheers from (some) employees ;) Great turnout, nice to see Bobson after missing him since about July, his Waaahoooos!! when jibing around fallen wingers got the beach's attention ;) Took Sam's advise and moved the mast back in the track and took out the shim. I'd done the former before, with less good results so that tiny bit of plastic shim makes a huge difference. Much more in control while just sailing along, most of my falls were from hitting kelp, which I did way too often. Going in once really fast and high on foil and weaving around the kelp I could see worked great to get back to the beach, once, wasn't repeated. So many over the handlebars, and one leg started trying to cramp each launch, bit scary when swimming. Great workout and really happy with progress despite not even getting any jibes or even touchdown jibes (close on one!). My 4 m strut does have a leak, made sure cap was seated properly and left it on the beach to test. Needs Viagra. ULR doing some nice 360s. So sore and bruised!
