Arrived after work with 2 kites on the water, 1 was on a foil. Took out my windmeter and it registered 12-18kts. I had the small board, which feels very small compared to the 150. Also chose the 95cm fuse as I feel it is more playful with the waves. It was but changing board and foil was difficult to ride compared to my 'go to' big board, long fuse. Anyways it was fun for 20 mins. I tried heading upwind as it looked windier up there. The rain came and wind backed off, I was a ways out so thought best to head back closer to the beach. The kites had left so that was another tip to pull the plug. Had to pump a bit on the way back to stay on the foil but all good! Made it back to the beach and yup, wind had backed off to 10-15kts so I called it after only 20 mins. It was a bit wavy for me but still fun to play in the waves!
