Took my daughter out for breaky so later start for me. I saw that "Goat Hill" was full and RB was wavy so decided to hit CP and sail on the outside of Willows. Lots of sailboats racing and a couple Wings in closer to Willows which I couldn't get close to as the wind was super gusty inside with lots of holes, wind was a bit steadier on the outside. A fat 4.5m was the right call, right up until 5 minutes from the end at which time the wind died and I schlogged back to the boat launch. Got in my 10,000 steps, or in my case 50kms. Same, same. Looked like everyone and the sister were at RB. I'm guessing it's time to wait until next weekend with the lack of light after work.
