Was holding off for the much advertised Epic RB Gale Day....but like so many forecasts of mice and men, blah, pfft, pfizzle!! Arrived to pack of wind hungry hounds standing around chatting but at least it was warm and sunny. Eventually things looked ripply with micro gales dancing on the water surface. A couple guys making it work outside so rigged big and out we went. A long schlog to any flying wind, no wind in bay, so outside we stay. Stayed at the point as that seemed to be where any puffs seemed to be concentrating. Was basically a super cruisy, don't twitch and come off the flying foil session. Efficiency was the game today if you didn't want to bob or schlog or swim. Made a fun hour of it, timed it perfectly with a dash to the beach, flying and pumping my way in to shore. RupDog and BWD missed my "time to go" memo and were treated to a swim in.
