Arrived early to 6-10kts, with more 6 than 10 but I was desperate so rigged a fat 7.0m Flyer and used the new 1100 front foil and 95 Evolution fuse both of which were amazing!! Fairly steady wind for first hour, 8-11kts which was almost perfect for the 7.0m. During some gybes it felt like I was going so slow but still foiling, crazy!! Compared to the 800cm2, the 1100cm2 has lots of lift at slow speed. For the last 30 minutes I found a Drunken Monkey out there on the water foiling in basically no wind, wow, just WOW!! Lots of sailboats going by and the Wasp was out there as well. I called it a day after 2 hours of lots O' Work pumping to stay on the foil in the light wind. In the end the gusts were few and far between. As I was packing up it felt like it was picking up just a bit but I was done although didn't quite get my 50kms, only 47km today. I had to stop as I thought I heard a Corona in my fridge calling my name. When I got home, it was actually my wife yelling at me to clean up the garage. oh well, I guy can dream.
