Merry Christmas Ya Filthy Animals!! Looked at Willows and IV on the website and they both looked to wavy for my liking so thought of last year at Bazan Bay and decided to go and try it. Parked at the boat ramp again and launched from there as it's fairly protected. It started out blowing 15-20kts but with some holes so figured I could foil gust to gust so rigged a bit smaller as I was going between 5.2 and 4.5m. so rigged the 4.5mand it was the right call. Sailed for an hour and then had to call it as it Christmas, ha!! Pretty great conditions as it ramped up to 20-25kts and best down at the bottom of the bay towards the highway. There were lots of logs in the water that I had to watch out for and it was pretty wavy/choppy. As I was packing up, I saw a Kitefoiler heading out but wasn't sure who it was but took a video of them which I'll post but if they want to msg me, I have 3-4 pics and 3-4 video's. It was a pretty great session especially since it's Christmas as wasn't sure I would be able to get out. I hope everyone got some today, wind or whatever makes them happy. HA!! Only 101kms to go to get to 8,000 this year. Hoping for some wind for the next few days.
