Sounds like I lucked out with 4m being the right call for my pre-work session. Love/hate the 50cm fuse with smaller foils as they get too pitchy and responsive at high speed, forcing me to avoid switching my feet to regular stance. BUT when it comes time to jam a frontside turn, all is forgiven! Still haven't gotten used to the big G's pulled turning a foil hard on a wave without the usual Wah-Pshhh!! sound of spray and board smacking the lip like you would kiting or windsurfing. It's kind of like the X-Games with the volume on mute, LOL! MA1000 and other gear felt super dialled and comfy today; almost feel like I'm improving! Love seeing everyone scoring great rides and turns. Less stoked to have to leave for work. Clover becomes a pretty incredible wing venue when the kelp and woody bits go away!
