Rule #1 - You don't talk about Fight Club. Rule #2 - Don't leave wind to find wind. Well, I left wind today unfortunately but leaving 6-8kts to look for more really isn't that bad is it.? Anyways, I was at IV as it was 8-10kts but by the time I got there there wasn't much 10 more 8 so left to try CP, arrived to CP and there was 6-8kts, looked at the BWD website and saw IV was 15-17... WTF!?!?!? How did that happen? So left CP and headed to back to IV. Arrived at IV to 10-14kt but looked really good. Rigged the 6.0m and not the 7.0m which was an error on my part. silly really, I just like using the 6.0m better but poor choice since it was supposed to be light. Anyways, got a good 30 mins in 10-14kts and then it got lighter, maybe 8-10kts and pretty steady, if I had rigged the 7.0m I probably would still be foiling. schlogged back to the beach where Mtnarg was watching. Took the windmeter out and yes, it was 7-9kts and pretty steady. Derigged and headed home to enjoy a Corona even though I didn't make 8,000kms this year.
