Arrived at 9:15am to 5 Wings (Windoc, RBL) out and 1 (Rocky) pumping up. Not much wind inside but 15+ outside. I was going to rig the 5.2m Flyer but then Windoc came in and said it was dropping so rigged the 6.0m Flyer, good call, Thanks Doctor! A few guys heading out, Rupp-Dogg, Lance. Got a solid 30 minutes until it ramped up to 15+ so came in to rig the 4.5m. Tweezy/Mtnarg/Drunken Monkey/WindJunky/ULR were all rigging up and heading out. It picked up to 15-25kts for an hour a bit up and down and there must have been 10-12 Wingers and Me .Then it dropped again to 10-13kts and most everyone had headed in. I derigged the 4.5m and it looked doable still and I was at 45kms so took out the 6.0m Flyer which I left rigged on the beach as I wanted to get to 50kms. I had to schlog out to the windline past the point but then it was well worth it. 10-15kts and it had flattened out a bit which was nice for me. I saw The Junkman out there too so was happy I continued. Felt like the wind was getting lighter so pulled the plug and came in foiling all the way to the beach, NICE! Everyone was packing up and heading out except A man and his dog looking for wind. The dog was happy to get a run on the beach but TunaCan was not as the wind was not as much as he would have liked but the sun was sunny so he put on his sunscreen and had a tanning session. Possibly a little light wind tomorrow......??
