Defintely was a lot more fun than yesterday , yesterday swells seemed to gnarly for wind strength but I was overpowered on 5 , anyways today great fun , switched back to 1550 front wing , and was using harness for close reaches,but just 2 of us down here at buena vista beach, swell super super smooth , ok yesterday cruised by a sizeable turtle, last year I hit one and felt really bad but he did sound so I think he was ok,I haven't seen any rays jumping this year but lo and behold on a downwind glide today one 3 ft wingspan guy launched right in front on my chest slam and down I go , absolutely amazing, loved it but freaky, last yr thousands jumping all the over, I've heard it's cause water temp still too warm(73) usually 70 by now , don't know , but I'm not donning an impact vest for a freak of nature encounter, bring on more please
