Ryan and I committed to dawn patrol at the point. Conditions weren't as gnarly as we were expecting. The wind and water were "energized" and occasionally challenging. Big gusts for the 4m and yet it was much needed on the inside of the point. Hit a log and ended up taking my stabilizer in the shoulder. Thank god for the 5/4 wettie. Other than that it was great to be out after an almost three week dry spell. Wind was NOT an issue until towards end of my session. Great swells. Hit a dip and that was my queue...
