Got to Bazan to see Bobson gybing inside and by the time I'd parked he was by Sidney Island. Rigged 4.0, launched, got a short foil, short slog, then a longer foil, crashed, slogged and slogged and so was Bobson so I turned back to the beach. Walked the gear back upwind in what seemed to be better wind again. Bobson came in, I went out for a few more runs but it was super gusty and offshore. Saw some bright spark down the south end of the beach trying to launch a kite ?!? Decided with it going west that Bazan would be better, got the wing into the van without deflating it :) and drove over in my wetsuit. MtNarg was self-rescuing downwind on his foil. Didn't look like it would come back (but it was gusting 37 knots at the airport 30 minutes later). Had a look at Elk Lake on the way to Ross, and it was light too.
