Arrived at RB around 3:30pm. Howling sunny south westerly with standard line-up of RBFC masochists. Immediately realized that I was dangerously overpowered on a 4 m. Big swell, lots of it. Wind kept intensifying after an hour but instinct said not to go get a 3m. Sure enough conditions got super weird, it started to HAIL and the wind came to a standstill, and then started blowing in from the north in under five minutes. All good. I was in the mood for a long paddle in :-)
