Put in 30 mins on the Windfoil and the wind picked up so came in and rigged the 6.2m Ensis for some Wingfoil practice. God knows I need it.
Got 6 or 7 foiling runs. heading out I pinched upwind so no walk of shame, on the way in I headed off the wind and pumped the crap out of that Wing. The Foiling wasn't the steadiest but got better each run. After seeing the GPS track, 18 minutes of foiling....WooHoo!!!! The last one felt pretty good and almost got a gybe in near the beach, staying dry on all my non-foiling gybes. Looking forward to me next Wing session. I can do this!! I don't think a foiling gybe is that far away. Woooooo!!! ps. Thanks for all support out there today, sometimes I didn't say Hi to peeps passing me just because I was out of breathe from pumping that 'Thing' so much. ha! One time, TunaCan whipped by and was yelling 'you gotta pump it'......and when I caught my breath, I said, to myself as he was gone by then, that I was taking a break from pumping. ha! I will learn when there is enough wind to be able to pump onto the foil, but until then it's a freakin' good workout. My heartrate was in the 140-150 almost my whole session. Plus, once the leash wrapped around my watch and ripped it completely off and it bounced off my board and into the water, I immediately dropped everything and jumped in to find it, dove down 2ft and grabbed it. SWEET!! nice save!!
