Ok, so before you boot me off, this is satirical. I have been missing so many windy days at Pipers because of work, that I thought I should reveal "how" I enjoy the wind these days. I bike commute - 10km each way. Basically N-S almost downhill to work and S-N mostly uphill home.
On Tuesday I left work to a bright and breezy headwind. 18-20 occasionally off the Port and Starboard side (cross-on_, but a lot of "into the wind" uphill with no respite.
It is the one time I am like "F--- off wind"!
My perfect day is leaving home with a strong morning Piper's NW , and then leaving work as the weather changes and the SE kicks in (but before the rain starts).
Somedays I am heading to work against a 25knot SE and driving rain .... only to come home as it is clearing and the NW kicks off into my face.
Oh the joys. At least i know i am alive!
