So Freakin' Great!!!! Best session that I can remember. Saw wind on the cam so took the day off work and headed to CP right away. Got my parking spot which started things off well. Rigged the 7.0m as it looked lighter, maybe 8-12kts. RobDS was there looking and Sam was there walking the dog. I headed out feeling pretty good, got foiling in a couple mins and didn't look back. Headed over to Willows to say Hi to Gautham and RedVanPaul and then headed back when the wind picked up to 15-18kts. Came in and re-rigged down to the 5.2m and as I was heading out saw that The Drunken Monkey was out there. Not long after a few WooHoo's with Ang, Jumping Steve came out and RobDS finally decided it was time to foil! I saw I had travelled over 65kms and wind was getting lighter so pulled the plug, H-Rock had just pulled it, good choice Monkey!! Both RobDS and Jumping Steve weren't far behind. Wind had dropped to 8-12kts. As we were enjoying cold beverages (Thanks H-Rock), The Twizz and Rupp-Dogg arrived and discussed lifes issues and if there was enough wind. TunaCan went home to pick up his gear and arrived back which was my time to leave as I had a golf date. Amazing day!! Sunshine, warm and enough wind. SWEET!!! Hoping to Wing on Saturday.
