Bit too much like last week. Would have attended RBFC but had commitments before and after and Pat Bay was about 20 knots on arrival. Again had the look of a temporary wind and indeed it was. 6.5 and 1010 wouldn't have helped much more as it died to sub-10. Glad I had a few fun runs with the 999 again and the new 5m slick. Very fast and in control, fun even just bombing around with no waves when you go 18 knots or so. Remembered I need to practice flying toe side but wind shut down as soon as I remembered. Can't wait to use this foil in RBFC waves. Feels like that extra efficiency will be the ticket to really riding waves.
