The wind was very fickle today. I started with my big 14.5 Flite and j_dog gave me a launch. I didn't even walk off the grass at Clover because the wind was so funky. It was like a wind bubble with small gusts. I decided to wait and landed the kite. A little while later the wind came up again and j_dog went out on the leeward side with his new kite. The wind wained again and Justin had to swim in. We waited on the point again and the wind came up "for real" this time. I went out and had about 15 minutes of good wind. And then it dropped quickly. I came in and managed to land the kite before the wind completely shut off. J_dog did not even get off the reef before turning around and I landed him. More waiting around and I decided to call it a day. As I was putting my gear away, the wind came up "for real for real". I wished CB and j_dog well as they headed out and I went home for dinner.
