Well, sometimes too much of a good thing.....
Wind came in hard, within a few minutes steady 20kts and gusting.
Got out and had some puckering sleigh rides - with a full gale in the forecast though, decided to call it quits before the surf exit became a complete shitshow.
Of course now that I'm in, looks like it's holding steady, and maybe i could have stayed out :-(
