Raining this morning so spent the day in Parksville with my daughter, returned at 4:30pm to what looked like 10-13kts so pulled out the 7.0m Sailworks Flyer and headed out. On the foil right away so have a HUGE WOOHOO!! First 5 mins was good but then wind increased to 12 gusting 20 so had to hang on to the gigantic power sail and had an amazing 2 hour workout. Should have come in for the 4.5m but too lazy so sailed super overpowered for 2 hours until I got my 50kms then called it a day and came in for an Ice Cold Corona (yes, I got new ice today) and had a hot shower. Good Times!! Only 1 other kite foiler (Mike D) out with me. A bunch of newbie Wingers near shore and Len/Brenda + family killing it on the Wing. There is a rumour going around the campsite that they are bringing a Monkey in to camp on Friday. I'm going to give him some booze and see if he does tricks. Hope so!
