Axis demo day. Started first 25 on the 980. Haven't foiled on it for over a year. Very forgiving, good glide, slower than the 999. Then back to the 999 until I bumped into Steve Fisher and he offered a spitfire 900 demo. Foiled that for an hour or so - turns on rails, easy foiling. No little twitches where you wonder if everything is going to go to hell in a hand basket. Then I tried the 899. Whoa! Liked that. Fast, turns hard and glides like the 999. I'm addicted to the glide! Told Steve it was the 'Cat's pajamas'. He didn't get it. I don't either TBH but I like saying it.
