Wind was forecast to hold all day, but was typically variable with enough high power gusts to make it fun. Full Aloha style surf wear (and w/o a harness to boot) all day so I wad shore hugging and sailed into Hammond Bay south if the fish huts. Hand winger John from Sooke had fun and lasted all day till 4pm ish. And again 25 or so sailors came & went thru the day. I had a streamer , Nav light and lifejacket for Sunset session from 9:15 - 10:10. The wind went to 16 knots 20 minutes later.. grrrr
Fortunately it was a non chaotic day hrre No rescues and no late night grass fires!!!!!!
