Day 2 of 2 was already windy by 9:00am foreshadowing the rest of the day. Rallied Ingrid to her lesson but talking it through with her instructor, decided that discretion is the better part of valor and took a pass on lessons for the day. Managed to convince Erika to suit up also and girls had fun time lazy river drifting.
Went out on the 4.0 and was lit up. Overpowered on a wing isn't as violent as with windsurfing but definitely had the wing fluttering in some of the gusts. Decided to put in the extra effort and rigged up windsurfing equipment and am so glad I did''windsurfing is sooooooooo frickin' fun. So much faster than winging, feels like a motorbike. Gybes were respectable before I was tired and threw some forwards just to remind myself that I can. 3 were meh, but had one nicely stuck landing and was happy that my chronic hip flexor injury didn't show itself. Now am nursing sore hands and bruised backside due to 45 minutes of windsurfing, but totally worth it.
