It was such a pleasant evening, everyone happy, smiling, the odd curse at the kelp... and then out of the Sun's blindspot attacked from on high! Shaggy and I on parallel outbound reaches with me being downwind directly below him, a quick cutback turn by Shaggy and that was it, we clashed foil masts! Minor damage to his carbon baby's leading edge, my brutishly tough alu mast came out unblemished. A reminder for all to look before course changes, and for downwind riders to not linger in the upwind riders blindspot. Sorry Shags!
