Down to the Goon (thanks Highrocker for the alias) which was glass when I arrived but a windline filled SW as I parked. Got going on the 5 with some moderate pumping, then it got light. At end it switched to NW gusty. Some gusts over 20 knots but then back to gusts of 14 with nothing between. Gave up to have dinner. Kelp rafts infested the tidelines. Must have floated in from Ross Bay on the ebb ;) Some good crashes resulted. Foiled around to toeside and jibed the wing, only to veer downwind from not enough toe pressure. Twice.
