Got the 10:30 shift today with GregC. Was good and fun once I paddled out past the kelp bed and got some wind. All the breeze was near the point and there were some nice little swell to play on. Glad I could help out with Greg's starboard heel tacks, I find if you just force the trailing upwind guy to tack by throwing a tack yourself it really motivates them to take that evasive tack action. Nice work Greg you almost made it, pretty sure if you stay near me like that we'll get you sorted:) Apparently we were also being stalked by an unusually large loner Orca. Neither Greg nor I saw him, but I did smell stinky whale breath and thought there must be a whale nearby (all the boats in the area may also have been a clue). Looked back at the cam and saw the big dorsal at 11:12ish on left side of frame near big sail boat.
