25,000 kms foiled. Big day!! A truly wonderful Nitinaht day!! Bacon, Eggs, Hashbrowns, and coffee on the beach for breakfast watching all the fish jumping. I'm pretty sure I hit 10 fish and 1 pissed off seal in 2 days. Wind came up at Noon and on the water at 12:30pm with BigD and Lil' B both Foiling. BigD making Winging look soo damn easy and Lil' B showing off her amazing Foiling skills on her ONLY 2nd day Windsurf Foiling. CRAZY!! It was 10-15kts to begin with and I went out on the 4.5m Sailworks Flyer and my new Airbolt 135 and the G1007 (Thanks KC) flying in very little wind. During one gybe, I swear I was going sooo slow but still foiling, a few pumps and ripping again. Gybing the Airbolt is so easy, just a little toe pressure and swooosh, gybe, soooo much easier than the 85cm wide SB. The Airbolt is 73.7cm wide totally easy cranking tight turns. The wind picked up at 3pm ish and switched to the G-800 front foil and that foil just rips even though it's got 1173cm2 area. Got in 100kms and the last 10 were in 10-13kts and I was still on the 4.5m sail and smaller front foil. I'm amazed at the low end of that smaller foil. Again, CRAZY-TOWN!! Last session at NN this year was outstanding!! Only 2 days but lots of TOW (Time 103cm Over the Water). Skyscraper height! Great food, foiling and friends. So much fun!!
