Mostly Slogging (is that Windsurfing') though potential was there .7km upwind. Tried to sail to North shore shoal of French Creek but wind got lighter & lighter then swung & dropped to WSW at 2 knots making return to launch spot impossible. Too light wind for gybing so I was tacking only.
Wing Foiler Joanne was also there from Pipers / Nanaimo which made things sociable but she couldn't get up on foil . So we were both scuppered for planing type fun. Beauty was it was warm and view worthy and tide was high. If I was there at 9am it might of been better .. At least on the outside.
None the less in 4 times trying its finally good to actually get on the water at this sweet spot. And good to be on a short board again.
