Arrived after my dentist appoint with a frozen mouth so might have been slurring. Lots of doods on Goat Hill so I parked down below with the masses of others. All of a sudden, Rock Star parking opened up so I ran over and grabbed it getting some dirty looks from ULR who apparently thought he should have it. oh well. Watched and chatted with the regulars. 18-20kts at Clover but not at RB. I decided that and a few puffs coming through were enough to head out after Rupp-Dogg. Well, it worked out. Schlogged to outside of Clover and caught a gust. BOOM!! Good to go! Puffs kept coming through which were followed by lulls. On and off the foil a bit. headed a long way out looking for more wind but alas, it wasn't out there. Schlogged back in and caught another gust off the point and foiled again. The board and foil aren't set up perfectly yet so I have a bit of tinkering to do moving the foil back in the tracks a bit and possibly moving the foot straps. I currently have them quite far forward in hopes of Winging with this board as well. I will try it out with the Wing this weekend and see how it works. If it works, I might have a 130 litre KT Wing Drifter for sale soon. Blah, blah, blah.... the wind picked up with 15kt gusts for last 30 mins, then big dark cloud approached so I pulled the plug and came in before it's arrival. ULR and some other Dood still out but both came in as well.
