Curves. Got up at 5:30 am and Mike and Jens both beat me to the beach and were sailing when I arrived about 7:30 am. Well done! Jens said cold and gusty, but waves were great! Struggled in the punchy wind and crazy gusts, but in the end got a few rides in. Some really nice jumping ramps! The threat of the rotating wind and holes in the sky made for some nervousness and the crazy gusts (the sensor at Boundary Bay Airport was averaging 39 knots! The 3.8 felt WAY too big at times and then tomb stoned at others! Punchy day with wind coming through in blocks. Got backwinded twice in one inside duck gybe! Tsawwassen and Jens both throwing back loop attempts! Alton exited below us with his leaky 5 m. Tsawwassen and Jens sailed about four times as much as me this morning - silly me. The wind finally rotated so it was off for a look-see at White Rock.
