made it to willows around 2:30 saw it was maybe 10 knot wasn't happy... took a quick look at the scene at cattle point... wind line looked good heading into cadboro bay so headed there and was blowing hard.. i decided to launch by toudor rd to get some upwind purches..everything looked a lot calmer from this angle so rigged the 6.5 slalom sail... i didn't want to risk being underpowered.. but holy smokes i was blasting pretty hard and had a tough time keeping the sail down .. alot of back slapping and doing my best to keep the board on the water...if i wiped out in the middle it was really tough waterstarting with to much power.. wish i rigged smaller sail so i could play in the swell but ended up being a great session regardless :-) ... I drove back to gyro to take a quick wind reading at 5:00 of 20knt avg 25knt gust down the line...
