Arrived at 10am ish to 10-15kts but looked pretty steady at 12-14kts so rigged the 4.5m as I was feeling like lazy-Bobson today. Took a couple minutes to get up on foil but after getting it up, keeping it up was easy. It was super flat off the S-end of James Island and out front off the beach but in between it was crazy confused wavy. I didn't think there was that much tide but apparently there was. I couldn't believe no one else was out there, it was great conditions, some flat water, some waves and enough wind for smaller sail/Wing. I wore the NRS Toaster mitts and hands were warm the whole sesh. These things are amazing!! I could have rigged the 6.0m and would have still been foiling if there were others out there but foiling alone gets boring, I was yelling out WooHoo but no one was answering and I was getting some weird looks from people on the beach. Well.....Whatevs!! Pretty shocked that I got this session in as the forecast wasn't great but glad I'm glad I checked the wind and headed out in the chilly weather.
