Arrived to the clearing front, sunny, warm and scads of wingers everywhere! Counted 25ish on water. It was beginning to fill back in after the pre-front lull, so rigged the 4.5m and went with the big foil. That lasted about 20 minutes then it really began to ramp up so went back and switched out to 3m and HPS930 foil (1180cm2). At one point it was nutso, gusts had to be 45+kn (ogden showed 44), everything was getting blown flat, wing was chattering like crazy, there was no "neutral". The swell was just ok for how much wind and longevity it had been, was very messy and never really got any big big size or consistency. Still was another one for the books as it was pretty crazy. Timed it right as i was milking the 3m at the end and managed to get back to the beach before it tanked, with many a floater/swimmer still out! Hopefully we'll get some sneaky sessions this week as it's not looking too good for wind.
