    The Earlybird does get the worm! Arrived at 9am to a full parking lot and 100+ runners picking up their race packages then leaving. I found a spot and rigged the very flat 4.5m Sailworks Flyer. It was blowing 20kts so I thought that I was good! I got out past the 10 people doing the cold plunge and started ripping!! Flat water, lots of wind, thought I was in heaven. Well, dropped down to 12-13kts with some 15kt gusts so had to pump from one gust to another but with the 4.5m kids sail and 1263cm2 HA foil it worked perfectly even practicing some foot/board pumping. Ryan showed up and was crashing everywhere and then flood gates opened and wind picked up again to 15-20kts and lots of Wings showed up. Lots of great wipeouts to watch! I love you you Wingers go a bit to high and then nose dive and run down the front of your board! I did crash once today. First time crashing in 4 or 5 sessions so water was pretty cold and I didn't like it that much. So figured I was either tired or drunk after 2 hours of great foiling! Some of the best that I can remember where the temp was >3 degrees which probably made it more enjoyable. After 50+ kms it was time to call it a day. Lots of WooHoo's and even 1 kiter Dood out today. Soo much FUN!!
