    The promise of 4m winds became a day of frustration and disappointment. We tried Willows first, Greg getting out first, just so he could paddle back. Waited an hour or so. Decided to head to IV based on OSRs. Checked on a couple of sites on the way and noted winds were building and the Willows flag was erect. Returned to Willows and rigged 4m for the 15-25kt winds. Winds dropped to 5-15 by the time we got to the water. Just got one foiling lap before the winds died and the big rains started. Meh!
