Fun session on the Cabal skimboard and 17m kite. I checked the Columbia weather station and Ballenas and it couldn't have been much over 10 knots between 2 and 4 pm. At first it was about 7 and I couldn't stay up. At 9 knots the package starts to cruise. In flat water and small chop the skimboard is incredibly smooth riding and quite fast considering it has two 3" fins on it, and with little wind. Going to try some different fin and footstrap configurations, but I am really loving this board for light wind.
Kudos to Alastair McKee in Victoria for installing the footsrap and fin inserts.
My knee is feeling way better but am still wearing a brace for it.
