Weird day for me. I just couldn't get dialed in. I must have tightened/loosened my sail about 8 different times including once way out when my mast cap came off. Not sure how that happened but it was a little scary having to rerig my sail in big rolling seas . I thought I was all alone as I drifted past Clover Point until an unusually large robin appeared on the scene and scared the crap out me! Thanks for checkin up on me dood!
I seemed to be fighting the tide all day too, as well as the windsurfer/boat traffic and a ton'o'kelp. Seemed like a lot of work for the amount of fun I had. On the flip side, I did manage to nail a few planing jibes today and the odd jump and wave ride. It was great to see so many sails on the water at Cook. :D :D Great scene down there.
