I just bought a harness this week in a little shop in Kits, sorry I don't remember the name (found it. Airtime Board Sports) but the guys there were super helpful.
I was told the harness a la seat is good for learning but you will outgrow it quickly and will want a waist harness sooner than later ...

Looking for someone to go Kiteing with

I am new to kiting. Took some lessons in La Ventana in February, and finally have all the gear I need but haven't been out since. I would really appreciate someone coming along for the first couple times to help get me in the water and someone I can talk through the set up with.
I have a T3 ...

Mystic Beach???

Does anyone know if Mystic Beach, in Juan De Fuca Park is any good for Kite Boarding? I am going camping there in a few weeks, and thought if it was I might take my gear.
My experience level is new to the sport. Lessons, and a couple short rides.

thanks

I have a 76 toyota landcruiser. Don't really want to sell but life happens while you're making other plans.
Runs well and will handle the logging roads np.

Cheers

Thanks for the advice, I appreciate it. I met a couple in La Ventana that teach at Nitnat in the summers so I am planning to head up there, and will probably bring some friends to introduce to the sport.
Cow Bay has great afternoon thermals for sailing (boats, not boards) and is well protected so I ...

Great

Thanks Ryan. I appreciate it. They kite's in Van and I am hoping to get it this weekend. Need a life jacket or impact vest too.

What sort of wetsuit do you use? How think? Also what are the good spots for a complete newb? Easy access, not too many rocks etc.
