i have done a few downwinders (and some upwinders too) and I am experienced kiter (since wipika free air!) and i was thinking about a weekend at Gordos anyways.

is it even possible???

to find have a clickable link from say the latest reports to the googlemap or where ever so that you cab click on the lik and see exactly where it is located on a map. kinda like www.windonthe water.com so you can visually see where it is ...

may i make a suggestion-
Borrow a waist harness from one of the kiters there (johanna?)
and try windsurfing in it-keep in mind it may take a while to adjust your style to it but in the end you may prefer the mobility and freedom of riding/windsurfing with your legs free'ed.

waist harness

works great for kiting and the last few years i windsurfed before i went over to the dark side I very much enjoyed the freedon and mobility of a waist harness in the waves and trying basic tricks windsurfing

still use it the occasional time i pole dance :wink:

The angles are about 3' for the upwind launch side and then
then one foot flat section' & 2' on the other side
and it's over 5' through the middle

you can see the angles clearly in one ...
