Re: Cadboro Bay?

I'm not sure about Caddy Bay, but people might be out at Willows Beach today. Just be aware of the many dangers: high tide with logs, high wind and cold water, dog poo, etc Also, there was a poor water quality from 2 days ago in Cadboro Bay: https://bigwavedave.ca/water-quality.html?site=475#data ...

Re: Bacteria Advisory and Water Quality At Ross Bay

https://www.surfrider.org/pages/bwtf-faq 7. How much does it cost to start a water testing program? It costs about $9,000 to purchase a complete BWTF lab set up with IDEXX equipment and enough supplies to process 100 water samples. Ongoing costs once the initial, expendable supplies run out are ...

Re: Bacteria Advisory and Water Quality At Ross Bay

I'd chip in $20 for this: https://fluidion.com/products/analyzers/alert-lab

Apparently they are using this for the Paris Olympics. Prices are hard to find but it looks to be ~$24k.

Hello: In anticipation of everyone switching from winging to downwind foiling, I added the Category "Downwind" to the GPS tracks. Feel free to upload your downwind SUP foil GPX files to the website and track your progress. I also added the stat "Longest Foiling/Planing Segment" which shows your ...
