I like the idea of ear protection provided by the Gath. Also, if I understand correctly from the website, the ear pieces are removable? Or can at least be opened up?

Put me down for a XXL helmet. In red preferably, or yellow. Something easy to see from a distance.

What are others' preference for helmets? Also, where to get one in Victoria? I have read a bit about Gath and like their gear but I might be limited to one model because I have a XXL head. The other problem is I would like to try one on for fit and mail order from OZ doesn't seem to be a good idea ...

I have thought of doing that! I saw a board on usedvic a while back for a decent price. Thought it would be a blast. Just can't find too many fields without a wind shadow.

Thanks for the suggestions. I'm too busy today to get out there anyway but when the wind kicks up, I start getting eager.

As the title says, I am looking for a safe place to use a starter kite around Victoria area. I spent some time on the North Shore of O'ahu recently with my kite but still need some practice! It would be nice to go back there but.... you know how finances and responsibilites go.... With the wind up ...

IE, you knew there was a risk to others, that is why you posted the sign. Therefore, you are liable for injuries inflicted by them ...
