I like the idea of ear protection provided by the Gath. Also, if I understand correctly from the website, the ear pieces are removable? Or can at least be opened up?

I have read a bit about Gath and like their gear but I might be limited to one model because I have a XXL head. The other problem is I would like to try one on for fit and mail order from OZ doesn't seem to be a good idea ...

I have thought of doing that! I saw a board on usedvic a while back for a decent price. Thought it would be a blast. Just can't find too many fields without a wind shadow.
