Customs was a long process. I had to pay customs so went in to pay GST and PST. They had to call someone to find out where my board was made as if it was from the US it was duty free. It took 50 minutes for that. In the mean time, they searched through the jeep with airush asking everything under ...

My first Gorge Trip
Last weekend I headed down to the Gorge for my first exposure to windsurfing in the Hood (Hood River delta). I made it to Stevenson (15 minutes up the road from Hood River) with Airush Friday afternoon and found a great campsite to stay at in Home Valley (15 USD/night), just down the road. There is ...

Weekend session
My wife Tara is excited to go. If you still need a volunteers I would be happy to come and help. I have only been windsurfing for a year so the basics are still fresh in my mind. I can bring down my Fanatic 320 as well.
Cheers,
Stephen

lost mast extension, universal and board foot
I have lost my mast extension (black and blue 2 ft chinook with blue and black rope) universal joint and white board foot for my Fanatic 320 Fun board. It was left at Nitinat on the September long weekend. I only realized this weekend as I tried to windsurf on Saturday at Jordan River and couldn't ...

Nitinat Lake Sept Long weekend
What a great weekend! Saturday blew around 15 knots and I spent the day trying to figure out my jibes and water starts. After five hours on the water, and watching BWD and the pile of other experienced windsurfers get it right, I headed back to camp to rethink things. I got some great advice from my ...

Gusty?
It is definately gusty on the inside, but once you get around the point you get solid wind. The wind is also a bit faster at the point than out in the strait due to the wrap around affect of the point. There is also a light house slightly down wind you want to be aware of with your kite lines. I've ...
