Would you go to Nike and say "hey that swish is kinda boring, how about something else?". Just kidding....in terms of logo design...it has to be simple (clean vector lines, nothing that is difficult to reproduce whether electronic or hard-copy) and relatively few colours for a reason, so don't go ...
