Kiteboard Recycling Project

Post by downwind dave »

I had a bit of time on my hands as I was recovering from pneumonia the last couple weeks. This thing turned out pretty good so I thought id post a few pics.

Take one old plywood kiteboard

Trim the fat, sand it a bit

Add a layer of glass to stiffen it up and some wheels

Some grip tape any you’re good to go!

The boards too small and flexy to use as a landsurfer but it slays the cul-de-sacs around my place and is a big hit with the neighborhood kids!
