http://www.vims.edu/general/sailpaddle/ ... ulator.xls Interesting little spreadsheet, concensus on rec dot windsurfing is that it is v. accurate for sails, almost everyone says 'spot on'; no feedback yet on the tabs for fins and boards which he has just added. Not for the experts, but most might find it useful. After you plug in your weight numbers you could print out the tables and take it with you to the beach to use with an anaemometer or the local wind readings.

Thanks for posting the sail calculator....its exactly what I have been looking for. I am about to get a couple new sails...perfect timing.
