Webcam at Nitnat

Post by TURTLE »

Not that I have any input on the matter but a preference of mine would be to have a weather station on the beach with up-to-date numbers... although a web cam placed way down the lake with a telephoto lens might prove to be useful as well.
thank-you Judi for all you communication

http://www.ditidaht.ca/History/history.htm Quote:"the people told stories relating how major disagreements erupted when valuable items drifted in from sea and settled on a boundary, and how occasionally, boundary disputes were resolved by holding jumping contests."

The webcam is operational on:

www.nitinaht.ca

Kleco! Kleco! (A big thank-you) goes out to Peter C who solved our problem with the satellite link and connection with the webcam.

On a positive note, it's nice to see the webcam at Nitnat finally.
On a negative note, I must be spoiled by BWD's webcams cause I'm not that excited about the size or quality of the picture!?
Why aren't YOU out there?

Is it only me, or is the picture pixelated. The image was more usable when it was smaller and thus sharper.

I'm happy to have the camera there - big, small, pixelated, with trees, whatever. It has cut down on my productivity substantially though (Don't worry FOLO, I'll get it read!). I'm still waiting to see what a white cap and a sailor looks like on the camera though. No wind for three days!
I wish my TOW was longer!
