Do I know him personally??? No. I just cut and pasted that from the Masters of Speed site.
Albeau is a windsurfer, world champion in slalom and waves a few times I think. Apparently the kites were going to have a go at the Trench for the first time ever today, so I wouldn't count on the record holding for long!
