Equipment rental in Victoria, anyone????

Post by ruso_turisto »

Hey, comrades!

I am flying off to Victoria next week, was just wondering if it is possible to rent windsurfing equipment of any sort in Victoria or other cities???? As you all know you can't bring everything on the plane as it will cost you more than the tickets themselves. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, may be even some private offers would work, Please, advise.

As far as I know there are no places that rent equipment on the island, but you MIGHT be able to find some rental gear in the vancover area.

Thanks for replies, fellas! I am flying in directly to Victoria, so can't really go to Vancouver, will check those stores eventually though when I am driving from Calgary. Kus, I am an anvanced beginner, just learned to use a 90 liter board and will try to bring as much equipment as possible on the plane, don't know what they will allow me yet for a reasonable price.

Hey, guys, any good wind predictions for the second half of the next week????? can't wait to come and enjoy Vancouver Island, this place rocks!

Sounds good, we can get in touch on Thursday, could you please provide your phone number, I am at Vancouver Island only until Sunday though. Kus, what other boards do you have in 90-120 range??

Russian Dood, can I get you phone number as well, my very good friend Boris is living in Victotia(you probably know him), we can get in touch with you by the end of the week. Perhaps, go for a quick session or pass a few beers or both :). rus: V lubom sluchae budem na sviazi, moi sotovi (403)891-5330. Do vstrechi!

He was just reminding Russian Dood to do his stretches at the end of that sentence, I'm pretty sure.
