OES and AHD Boards
well, I must say I was a bit disappointed since the original logo/design was of a black widow theme with yellows, reds and black and this was reverted a more simple artsy design but in the end.....there really are limited options I mean, Doc's new twinzer is red, that's it.....My starboards are all boring as hell.....then we have crazy curly stuff on the AHD, not sure that's preferable but different. We have had the full array of designs from flowers to naked women, my old Crazyfly was to have a dragon lady on it with a huge tattoo.....and I don't like tattoes tho I kinda like dragon ladies Johnnyman's mermaid on the other hand looks like a transvestite
I think the white with black looks classy and the lines are clean. Yes, I would have preferred a more hi viz color but I'm sure I will like my new stick.....if it ever arrives so stop hacking it before you have seen/tried it

Hey Kus,
Re-read my post. I said I really liked your board. I'm not hacking its performance. I think OES makes a great product. I'm not talking about clean "lines" or "shape", but art work. Their graphics still look like someone cut and pasted bad 80s art designs. This is only my opinion. Hey, better more $ spent on R&D then on graphic art work. BUT, given two boards that sail the same, cost the same, but one looks better graphically, I think people will be swayed by the better looking board, right? I guarantee OES would have an even better following if they stepped up their look. Yes, it's marketing BS and it's totally superficial, but it's part of many peoples' buying decisions after (or even before!) all other aspects have been looked at.
Despite fear of stepping on toes, look at the Ocean Rodeo kites, for example. They've had great products for years, but graphically they didn't grab your attention in the same way they do this year. Lots of people have commented positively on the new designs and they stand out beautifully in the sky. You combine performance and price with good looks and you have a market winner.
Yeah, my twinfin is "just" red, but you don't need to paint flames on a Ferrari

Poultry in motion
I know, I was just making the point that some products out there that get purchased consistently don't have the mega busy or radical color combos......what looks cool to one person is pretty nasty to others....and plain colored boards sell because people like THAT too.
Alas, I like brighter colors, the white wouldn't have been my choice....now Kermit green, there's a ticket
